Born and raised in Columbus County, Representative Brenden Jones is a proud eastern North Carolinian and lifelong native within his district. Representative Jones currently resides in Tabor City with his high school sweetheart and now wife, Angela, and their two daughters.
Jones started out in his career as a small business owner in the late 1990s when he took over his family's car business. Over the years, Jones expanded this family dealership which now stands as the oldest car dealership in all of Columbus County. Since then, he has embarked on several business ventures in the area including an auto body repair facility and funeral home.
Representative Brenden Jones currently serves as the Deputy Majority leader within the North Carolina House of Representatives. In addition to this leadership role, Jones serves as the Senior Chairman for the House Transportation Committee, as well as both the Chairman of the House Transportation Appropriations Committee and Vice Chairman of the House Rules Committee.
