About Rep. Brenden Jones
Family Man
Born and raised in Columbus County, Representative Brenden Jones is a proud eastern North Carolinian and lifelong native within his district. Representative Jones currently resides in Tabor City with his high school sweetheart and now wife, Angela, and their two daughters.
Small Business Owner
Jones started out in his career as a small business owner in the late 1990s when he took over his family's car business. Over the years, Jones expanded this family dealership which now stands as the oldest car dealership in all of Columbus County. Since then, he has embarked on several business ventures in the area including an auto body repair facility and funeral home.
Leader at the NC General Assembly
Representative Brenden Jones currently serves as the Majority Leader of the North Carolina House of Representatives. In addition to being Leader Jones is the Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, and is currently the Vice Chairman of the House Rules Committee.
